So, this is the font known as 'Perpetua', hey? What do you think? May seem a little random, this line of questioning; maybe not?
Two things, though ... Firstly, the keyboard seems a little out/skewed? When I hold down the shift key + the number keys, this is what I get - !"£$%^&*() - and as you can see, all is fine except for the 2 (which should be the @ symbol, but has been mapped to the double inverted commas) and 3 (which should be the # symbol, except that it has been mapped to the back slash key instead), which just means that I am required to understand the idiosyncrasies, I suppose? Hmm, I wonder what the other keys are mapped to? ¬_+{}~@:<>? Which is (again) almost correct ...
Which brings me to the 2nd thing-this is being typed out on an Asus 1201PN, which in simplest terms, equates to a 12" screen (running 1366 x 768 resolution), has 2G Ram, a 320G (spin) HDD, and is from the ePC family. Oh, the keyboard is full size too :)
Thought I may bang out these words, as I await a NWN patch download which is required to update the program and will, I hope, also allow me to play the game without the need to have an attached CD drive - which, it has to be said, this computer came w/out ... although, for another $50, I was able to purchase an external DVD reader/writer there and then when I bought this computer. Anyway, this keeps with the whole ePC mindset/considerations, of having the computer portable and connected, to not be reliant upon 'outdated' forms of information transmission ...
Anyway, meet Silver Rocket, my aptly (nick)named personal computer :) We are still exploring each other, discovering what the best combination of workability is (e.g. see above) and how to utilise this Windows 7 OS, which, I am hastening to add, is yet another layer of difference to get used to ... :O
