Sick, with FLS (flu-like symptoms), from ~1030 Saturday, including, but not limited to:
- Cough;
- Phelgm;
- Headache;
- Runny nose;
- Copious mucus;
- Muscular aches;
- Irritated eyes; and,
- General lethargy ...
- Did manage to achieve some things:
- Ironed shirts;
- Went shopping;
- Washed up;
- Showered; and,
- Submitted timesheet.
Tuesday
- Still coughing :-( also, it is triggering gag reflex!
- Rang the DHS & chatted to them - bit shocked that I was working & was not available, even by phone, during office hours. But, what can you do?
- Intense day on phones, but settling in - another five started working. Tried to get through asking for help less often.
- Worked.
- Day turned cooler!
- Got home & collapsed. Then took calls from mother & brother - timing, hey?
Wednesday
- Work is getting better - more joy & less stresses. Noticeably little space/time for social interactions, however ...
- A little bit better, but still collapsed, out front, when I got home.
- Bag in box - no wrapping!
- Then chatting - Barb, Kristy & Trace ... Amusing?
- Watered front - bath was dry :-(
- Grated ginger & garlic, put into miso - bit worried by this flu ...
- Early night - apart from some messages ...
- Read two more chapters.
- Slept.
Thursday
- Then woke up. Looked at watch & it said 5, so thought I would have a leisurely pace to day ... Got up & it was 4 :-P
- Anyway, kept going & caught the 0613. Except it was late leaving ...
- Of course, the Werribee train was cancelled too, so it was crammed by Melbourne!
- Funnily enough, there was a girl in the middle of the carriage, who wanted to get off at Frankston, but only started to move after the train stopped ...
Work:
- Bloke said he said submitted 01/02, where is it? Looked at document, signed 20/02, received 28/02, he says whatever ... He says family emergency, have to fly out. But until 05/19 ... DOB was 10/18. Asked why so late? He says too busy doing other things - legislatively required to register w/in 60 days ... But when he said he was recording the call (& refused to stop) hung up on him; and,
- Getting through calls faster, so when I saw that one call to go & was just about to answer it, was elated. When it was an answerable question & I realised there might actually be enough time to catch the 1648, started packing up & shutting down. Then the clock started - had to run up the stairs, but made it :-) Wasn't until we were moving that I realised that the one in the queue was not the one I answered ...

Monday
Starting again.
- But so exhausted - not even sure what time I finished ...
- After fulfilling my social obligations, I then had one more ... Really, really need to learn to say no ... Every sigh awakened me, bed stinks, conversation is desultory ...
- But got through the day.
- Managed a few new tricks, learnt some more - really is about on the job training!
- Went to bank, to deposit cheque & it was one block further than expected. Should have taken the time to check account number - got asked lots of POI questions!
- Nice day - warm, but humid.
- Caught the later train - no intermediate stops, but still people standing. Was too tired to stand myself, however ...
- Finally, listened to the 13th birthday mix on Podrunner & was very impressed - lots of interesting sounds & an energetic mix.
- Oh, got home to find that Greg had dropped off some date loaf & Tracey had broken up with me
