Also, realised that I gave away a lot of things that I really should not have, e.g. floor pump, under-saddle bags & bike pumps. However, possibly the most ironic has been the Garmin attachments, e.g. the socket(s) & the ANT+ sensor for cadence …
Apart from that, this has seriously depleted my cash reserves!
Interestingly, went for a ride on 05/11, after getting the FX2, along the rail-trail & stopped to adjust the seat height. Then decided to turn left & come back in along the Bellarine, to see how it handled on the road. Got to the end, turned left into Boundary & promptly started to vomit …

- Wine boxes arrived (for Stevie), whilst I was away sipping coffee. Had left a note saying ‘if you need me, just call me’ but did not include a contact number! There was one big box (15? bottles) & one smaller one, with glassware in it;
- Then got a call from Lauren, from Irwin’s, saying that they had finished earlier & could do my pruning now. Turned out that they were sitting out the front, awaiting me! Showed them what I wanted to do & confirmed to leave me with the chippings, please. Except that they did not! Also, the job was a bit brutal, i.e. straight lines, without concern as to the shaping of branches, etc. Job cost $1200 & am still waiting for a load of chippings; and,
- Whilst showing them what to do, the courier arrived with the Canyon Endurace CF7 :) Even though it transpired that it did not have the 4iii power crank that I was expecting!
Thought: could the RNC renounce Trump & tell him that if he wants to be in politics, to do it on his own? Almost certainly not - that would detract too many votes away, leaving the DNC in power! Pity …
