how cold the night?

Apparently it shall lower to 1c overnight ... is it any wonder that I awaken with frozen toes and trembling limbs? And yet still there is a certain pleasure to be had in enjoying this difference to the sultriness of Northern winters where one may have a need to actually add a blanket, at worst ... instead of here where the extra blankets, doonas, and bed sox are barely enough ...

Am still feeling the pressing urgency of rampant consumerism, as if Asus has an attraction too great to resist - eeePC 900 or something more hardcore?

Temptation is great to get the 700, as a shop is closing down, and they are offering it for $359 ... awfully cheap, I must say ...

Should really post some more photos, as there are nearly 400 just on the hdd here ... but there are not that many which are worth putting up ... which may well be as much an indication that I need to start winnowing down the quantity some ...
