Been a lot of rain lately, so ground is very wet - much more of this, and I will survive Summer! But, just to be sure, have been (progressively) spreading bales of straw around. Did the apple trees & mandarin - that is the citrus done now!
Had the Evidence moot yesterday, got killed! J was a criminal defense lawyer, seemingly with little tolerance for the prosecution argument - who were, conceivably & possibly, under-prepared ... however, he did seem to pay a lot of attention to leading the defense arguments to where he wanted - 'I agree with that, now what about the probative value? What arguments can you give me about how the prejudicial value of the evidence would outweigh the probative value?' Of course, I may be just miffed that he did not like my 'dying declaration' submission ...
