Oh, that movie, ‘How to please a woman’ - I needed that! At first, I thought I might need to stand up & shush the lorikeets in the back row- but, they settled once the movie started. This is an Australian film that, like many good Australian films, did not take itself too seriously; had a lot of wry humour; used delicate innuendos; and, had fun doing it!
On a more serious note, I really need to clean more!
On a broader note, I needed that. This highlights that I am really quite isolated & alone! It also showed that I am getting a tad frantic with stress - which is, at least, partially driven by employment, if only because there is so little else; and, it was nice just to throw a wry comment over my shoulder, as a way to share a moment of joy! Plus, I really (really!) need to get laid :( <sigh> I do miss physical contact …
Am struggling to read ‘Woman of thirty’ (by Balzac) - not only is the content so varied (where did ‘I’ come from???), but the actual subject matter is quite disturbing, as it requires some concentration to maintain an awareness of who is doing what & when! Which is probably why I perservere, I guess!
