Today is another day

But, gone out and actively pursued employment with Medibank and Telstra (albeit via an agency) ... then promptly came home and 'celebrated' with pizza (had 1/2 veg + 1/2 chicken - $17, tasty, but SO thin ... almost ethereal) and beer (got a 6 pack of Grolsch Premium on card) ... which also, coincidently, used up the last of my money, including the 'emergency' monies ... and, yes, that includes the 2nd degree 'emergency' monies ... EKK!!!
Bloody parents/sister still have not given me any money back for the Lotto draw on the w/end - tried a System 10 entry, everyone got to choose 2 numbers, but $110.00. So I paid for ticket, but they have not been too keen to get the money back to me ... excuse being they did not realise that I needed the money? HA! Unthoughtful so and sos ... ;)
Also walked home, and what a beautiful experience that was! Totally enjoyed the sensation of meandering along at the end of the day peak hour, dodging bored office workers ... soon to be one of those?
Put a little pressure onto the pedals this morning, and averaged 27+ ... improvement follows effort, hey?
Spent a bit of time yesterday getting the first Word of power in NWN, an impressive performance, if I may say so myself ...
This whole thing with RSVP does not, it would seem, favour the backward, so really must make some effort to get a move on and 'kiss' some of the candidates that I have come across in my travelling/searching ... especially as some of them sound SO particularly interesting ... lol
As for all of my old friends, acquaintances, etc. not a sound, peep, hiccup ... ... so guess I must let 'sleeping dogs lie' as it were ... :(
Friends, who needs them, hey? ;)
Have some rather interesting photos, but they are on the Mac, and I forgot to copy them over via Memories, so promise to upload soonest ... have also being trying to get some sort of practice/introduction to the CS3 suite ... hence the icon ... but also doing a PhotoShop montage, as there is a rather interesting/odd spray mural around the corner ... which needs a bit of reworking?
Oh yeah, that irrascible brother dragged me off kicking and screaming ("No, not tonight" "Fine, what time will I pick you up?") to see Broncos down the Titans by 4 points in extra time ... pretty bloody exciting, I tell you! Especially as was see-sawing all throughout 2nd half, and was drawn at full time ... all THOSE people ...
BTW ... apparently I have a typing speed of 45wpm + 90% competency in MS Word ...
